Tell me something
about the ABC Ball Park?
Ans. It is a five field complex with covered grandstands and
covered dugouts. Seven ASA National Tournaments have been conducted there.
The ball park has been in existence for more than 50 years. The City of St. Ann
grew up around the ball park. The concession stand is said to be one of the best
by many out of town teams and their fans. You will have to make your own
judgment based on your visit.
Is
there a site that shows pictures of ABC Ball Park?

slide show at this link presents
a tour of the ABC Ball Park Facilities, Services and Tournament Personnel .
Are
there directions to ABC Ball Park posted anywhere on the internet?

Park and driving

Will
there be team results and information posted on the internet during the
tournament?
Ans. Yes. This web site will be updated to provide names of
participating teams, tournament scores, standings, pictures of the final five
teams and other tournament information. Updating of tournament results may be
slow at the beginning of pool play due to other more pressing matters. Once the
tournament progresses into bracket play, updates will be posted following
completion of each round of field play.
There will probably be some posting errors which are unintentional. A NICE email
to the webmaster identifying the
error and information about the error is all that is needed. The error will be
validated and the web site will be corrected. No run differential greater than
ten(10) runs will be posted for any game except for the the tournament
championship game. This is the application of the internet ten(10)-run rule.
Fans will be provided an opportunity to write emails to their favorite
teams, All emails will be posted on a bulletin board for everyone to read.
NO personal emails unless you want everyone to read them. Visitors to the web
site can also comment on the web site and the information provided. Again, NICE
comments about the web site are always welcome along with constructive
criticism.

Are
the dugouts and grandstands covered?
Ans. Yes. All dugouts and grandstands are covered. However,
depending on the angle of the sun during day games it is advisable to bring a
sheet or light weight tarp that can be attached to the back of dugout to block
the sun.
Will
there be tournament souvenirs available to purchase during the tournament?
Ans. Yes. Souvenirs will be available for purchase starting on
Monday 02 August 2004 at the Team Party. Buy early so you are not disappointed
by a sellout of a particular item. All purchases of souvenirs are based on
a first come first serve basis.
Can
you pre-order tournament souvenirs?
Ans. No. This service will not be offered.

Will athletic trainer personnel be available during the
tournament?
Ans. Yes. Athletic trainer personnel will be available in the
Rudy Room during all pool and bracket play games. This service is available to
all people who need emergency medical attention while attending the tournament.
Who will be supplying the
softballs?
Ans. The softballs for the tournament will be provided by the
Tournament Committee. Presently the Tournament Committee plans on using Model
No. Red Dot C11RYSA manufactured
by Worth.
Will
water coolers be available in the dugouts during games?
Ans. A water jug containing ice and water will be provided in
each dugout. The tournament committee advises that a team representative check
the level of water when a team enters the dugout for their game. If the water
jug is low or empty contact tournament personnel and the water jug will be
serviced ASAP.

Can
the players bring small coolers containing drinks and fruit in the ball park?
Ans. Yes. These small coolers must be carried by players
or coaches in uniform and be in the dugout area, not in the grandstands. One
picnic size cooler will be allowed in the dugout area for each team. These are
the only coolers that are allowed to be brought into the park at any time.
Can EZ Popup tents be
brought into the ball park?
Ans. No!!!
