2008 Adult Fast Pitch Tournaments 

 

Teams must enter the district tournament where the greatest number of players on their roster reside.  Teams will advance to state tournament play based on their finish at the district tournament level.  Any team that participated in a district tournament may play in the Iowa ASA Class A State Tournament and will not be reclassified.  The ratio of teams advancing out of a district tournament to the state tournaments will be determined by the State Commissioner based on the number of teams playing in each district tournament.  The top two (2) finishers in the Men’s Class A Fast Pitch State Tournament will automatically receive a berth in the Class A Fast Pitch State Tournament the following season.  Any Women’s Fast Pitch team wishing to register with the Iowa ASA and compete at the Regional Tournament may contact the Iowa ASA State Office at (641) 236-5766.

Men's Modified Fast Pitch Tournaments

The Iowa ASA Modified Class A state tournaments are open to any team meeting the eligibility requirements provided space is available.  Teams must be registered with Iowa ASA to compete in the state tournament.  The Iowa ASA Modified Pitch Tournaments are 10-man tournaments using the Class A 10-Man Pitching Rule.
