2010 Iowa National Tournament Team Participation &

2011 Reclassified Teams

The Iowa ASA Code Classification Rule reclassifies teams according to their finish in the National or in Junior Olympic Play from Iowa ASA State Tournaments.  The following teams are subject to Article 306 D 6 of the Iowa ASA Code and must play in the next higher classification of play for their next season in ASA play.  A team that has four or more players on a roster, including pick-up players is considered the same or returning team.

We congratulate these teams on their excellent finish in 2010 and commend them as they advance to higher levels of play improving the great sport of Softball in the state of Iowa!

The following Iowa teams played in ASA National Championship Tournaments in 2010.

If an M (Mandatory Reclassification) is located beside a teams name this indicates those teams that are subject to Article 205, Section F(1) of the ASA Code and Article 306 B1 of the Iowa ASA Code and must play in the next higher classification the following season.

If an R (Restricted Classification) is located beside a teams name this indicates those teams that are subject to Article 205, Section F(2) of the ASA Code and must remain at the same or higher classification for the following season.
