BioHas been employed at ASA national office since May 6, of 1979. Served as PR and media director until 1996 when he was named manager of the ASA National Softball Hall of Fame and Museum. Was instrumental in softball attaining widespread media coverage and recognition through his determined efforts as press officer at two Pan Am Games, 13 U.S. Olympic Festivals and six ISF World Championships. In the 1996 Olympics was ACOG information manager for softball. Has written widely about the sport in books and magazines and has served as a stringer for the Associated Press covering the NCAA Womens College World Series. Is a 1973 graduate of Indiana University, Bloomington, IN. Was born September 3, 1944 in Syracuse, NY. Is honorary member of the Indiana ASA Hall of Fame. Published book "Softball's Hall of Famers," in 2000. Has been involved in sport for more than four decades. On March 8, 2003 was inducted into the NY State Hall of Fame. Has contributed to 11 books about softball and authored "The Game America Plays: Celebrating 75 Years of the Amateur Softball Association" in October, 2008.
