Finch to appear on ‘Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn’

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – On Thursday, July 24, 2003 USA Softball’s Jennie Finch (La Mirada, CA) will grace late night audiences with an appearance on ‘Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn.’ The 6’1 pitching phenom, along with Undefeated film star John Leguizamo will be guests on the CBS Late Night Show live from Los Angeles, CA. The show is scheduled to air at approximately 11:35 p.m. post ‘The David Letterman Show.’ (check your local listings in your area).

A right-handed ace in the circle, Finch has been making headlines across the country exploding into one of the nation’s premier female athletes. Leading the 2003 U.S. National team to the U.S. Cup gold medal and Canada Cup bronze medal, the Arizona Wildcat alum is preparing for the upcoming Pan American Games August 5-15 in Santo Domingo. Overall she has tallied a 5-1 record, 0.23 ERA and 48 strikeouts in 30.2 innings pitched.

Off the field, she has been recognized by ESPN.com as the hottest female athlete, Page 2 Wacky Bracket Champion, and runner-up to Tiger Woods for the ‘Most Popular Athlete.’ To add, she made her broadcasting debut color commentating the 2003 Women’s College World Series in May and co-hosted ‘This Week in Baseball’ for Major League Baseball.

Finch and the U.S. Women’s team look to capture their sixth Pan American gold medal beginning August 5 in Santo Domingo. Recording a 42-0 win streak in Pan Am action, the U.S. Women have taken home the past four consecutive Pan American gold medals.
