ASA Awards 2009 Championship Sites

Louisville, Ky. – The Amateur Softball Association (ASA) announced today the host cities for the 2009 Championship season. With over 80 tournaments on the schedule for 2009, cities from over 29 states were selected after spending two days of presenting bids to the ASA National council in hopes of securing a site for a 2009 Championship.
In addition to awarding the bids for the tournaments, the Council also voted for Reno, Nevada as the host site for the 2009 ASA National Council Meeting. Oklahoma City, Okla., home of the ASA National Office and National Softball Hall of Fame, will host next year’s Council Meeting.
The tournaments were selected by the ASA Council as well as the ASA Special Events Committee. A list of the host sites are listed below:
