USA Softball announces invitees for Men’s National Team Selection Camp

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. --- The Amateur Softball Association, the National Governing Body of Softball in the United States and USA Softball announced today the list of invitees for the 2007 USA Softball Men’s National Team selection camp. The camp will be held May 25-28 at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, Calif., and will be used to select the USA Men’s National Team that will compete in the ISF World Cup, June 16-25 in Prague, Czech Republic and the American Challenge Series, July 12-15 in Oklahoma City.

The American Challenge Series was developed by the ASA to help promote and grow men’s fast pitch in the United States. The American Challenge Series will be held in conjunction with the III World Cup of Softball and will feature four of the top teams in the world including the USA and Japan. For the first time ever ESPN will televise one of the USA Men’s games on its network.
